The Role

Main activities:
• Daily review of insurers’ applications to identify claims notices submitted directly to insurers.
• Contact the insured and inform that we will accompany them during the claim.
• In case the incident is sent to WTW, take care of it from beginning to end
• Daily monitoring and follow-up of claims
• Weekly meetings with insurers
• Activate the experts in WTW, in case needed.
• Give notice to claim insurers.
• Verify that the information to be submitted is complete for the claim and avoid reprocessing or delays due to lack of identification.
• Request insurers to comply with ANS (SLA) in the handling of claims.
• Ensure compliance with the conditions agreed in the slip placement at the time of compensation. Negotiate with the insurers the response terms.
• Carry a detailed report of the claims in progress.
• Generate the inputs for the management report to the Client.
• Perform payment validation.
• Keep the CASE system updated daily.
• Make the digital and / or physical file of each claim and sending it to custody.
• Request file claims reports with insurers, and pass it to the account maintenance area.
• Carry out an evaluation of the insurer at the end of each claim payment.
• Ensure the correct operation and flow of the processes that entails the insurance program for Bancolombia employees.

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Administration or a related field. At least, Technology degree.Previous skills developed for Collections
• Windows programs knowledge
• Skills to daily follow up area indicators
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to organize, prioritize and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work within ambiguity
• Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
• Strong analytical and creative skills
• Continuous improvement mind-set – increasing task efficiency and effectiveness with each repetition and making recommendations for process improvement
• Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills
• Ability to work both independently and on client teams
• Sense of accountability; owning one’s work and taking pride in it
