JOB DESCRIPTION

Global Services & Solutions is a new, growing team within the Corporate Risks & Broking segment. Our Centres of Excellence in the UK, Paris, New York and Chicago work across all lines of business and provide global servicing, solutions and advice to our multinational clients, working closely with the WTW Global Network and international carriers

The Role

Based in our Ipswich office, you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of global service and network co-ordination for a portfolio of allocated international clients lead by Global Specialists in conjunction with other core team members, together with the management of administrative support provided by our Mumbai team.

This position will suit candidates who ideally already have some commercial insurance experience with excellent organisational and communication skills.

·  Pre Renewal
·  Support the delivery of the annual service plan for each International Client
·  Coordination and consolidation of renewal data and the collection process.
·  Provide input into strategy meetings with clients, brokers and insurers
·  Monitor and support the meeting of agreed KPI’s with insurer regarding local policy and certificate issuance, together with premiums collections and cashflow
·  Input or production of premium allocations to ensure that there are; benchmarked with local norms, comply with local tariffs etc.
·  Managing the coordination and distribution of network fees
·  Coordinate instructions of group programmes to broker network and local client operations (where required) including the overseeing of relevant documentation
·  Manage production of certificates requested for overseas operations with the insurer and/or local broker where required.
·  Global & Individual Fronting Programmes
·  Provide a supporting role in the tendering of programmes/fronting programmes with insurers including new business presentations.
·  Provide a supporting role in the implementation and management of administration of fronting programmes, including liaising with the Captive where required.
·  Monitor and track premium and local policy issuance including reconciling premiums with Captives where applicable.
·  Local Programmes (stand-alone policies/compulsory covers)
·  Provide support in the communication of group risk purchasing philosophy to local brokers and local client companies (where appropriate)
·  Collect and consolidate local policy summaries (covers, limits, insurers, premiums remuneration etc) 
·  Support work with the client and local broker to maximise appointments on local lines.
·  Core Client Documentation
·  Provide assistance with the creation of insurance manual for allocated clients which provides details of programme coverage and operation, with other specific instructions – for use by clients own operations
·  New Business Tenders and Exercise
·  Provide support and input into new business reports and presentations relating to international programmes, management of the WTW Global network, international servicing, local broker fees, country legislation and practices.
·  General Advice
·  Provision of information on admitted/non-admitted, compulsory covers and other regulations and practices.
·  Provision of underlying insurance details to broking teams where DIC/DIL cover is arranged.
·  Provide advice to colleagues and clients on the operation of global programmes.
·  Advise colleagues and clients on the structure of global programmes to ensure compliance with local legislation, practices and related issues i.e. provision of information on admitted/non-admitted, compulsory covers and other regulations and practices
·  Advise colleagues and clients on insurers capabilities to deliver global solutions.
·  Troubleshoot issues including mid-term changes, chasing premiums, requests and claims.
·  Business Development
·  Assist the BU where required in researching and compiling information to support the winning, retaining and development of profitable clients.
·  Client Relationship Management
·  Understand the clients’ business and their risk management needs in order to provide the necessary service to meet their requirements and add additional value.
·  Placement Management 
·  Responsible for the implementation and delivery of agreed placement strategy on a client by client basis including adherence to all relevant processes.
·  Operational and Service Delivery
·  Deliver the end to end ongoing client service, adhering to standardised policies, procedures and service standards for allocated tasks and activity
·  Team Management
·  Help to develop the skills, competencies and knowledge of International Programme support team (Mumbai)

The Requirements

·  Some experience and knowledge of insurance and underwriting in order to deal effectively with client needs
·  Preferably at least A-level or relevant industry experience 
·  Professional qualifications of ACII or working towards this is desirable but not essential
·  At least intermediate level IT skills (Microsoft Office suite)
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with new clients and insurers and maintain strong relationships with existing ones
·  Able to deal professionally with internal and external contacts
·  Excellent client focus with proven experience of delivery of high levels of client service
·  Ability to analyse situations and provide recommendations to identify optimum solutions
·  Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems that support client service delivery
·  At least intermediate level of data analysis and presentation skills
