Summary of Role


Overview:

·  Collaborate with Information Security and Information Technology leadership to help guide the Enterprise Security Architecture Program
·  Collaborate with and influence technology leaders and stakeholders to produce secure solutions based on reusable architecture

The Role

Major Accountabilities:

·  Interpret Information Security requirements to help ensure delivery of secure IT solutions
·  Identify and deliver strategic initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency, aligned with business strategy
·  Create and maintain technology patterns, strategies and roadmaps for the Enterprise that cross multiple domains, underpin the Information Security Strategy and support and enhance the Business Strategy
·  Communicate architectural plans and strategies to both our key business stakeholders and Information Security Leadership
·  Develop, socialise and deploy Enterprise Security Architecture processes
·  Recommend and arbitrate between technology choices that best serve the Enterprise needs and adhere to IT’s guiding principles
·  Research and recommend current and future technologies by tracking trends, best of breed technologies and industry best practice
·  Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization’s technologies, architectures and data flows
·  Full understanding of the End-to-End Information Security service delivery life cycle

The Requirements

·  Sound experience in an information security role (Consultancy level preferred)
·  Experience of multi-domain, Security Architecture Frameworks 
·  Experience of working within a Global Financial organisation 
·  Experience of working in a Projects driven environment 
·  Excellent collaboration, communication and presentation skills
·  Strong Stakeholder Management and influencing skills
·  Ability to cultivate relationships with key business stakeholders and IT leadership Ability to adapt to Change
·  Broad knowledge of Information Security, IT and industry best practices
·  Infrastructure/Application Security
·  Professional qualifications in a related subject for example, SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP, CISM, CISA (preferable)
