JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to join our fast growing DC Dealing team based in our Redhill office. This is a challenging and rewarding role which requires excellent attention to detail as you will be working with numbers on a daily basis. Full training is provided including new starter induction and further training thereafter. The Role
The individual will be working within the DC Dealing team and will be expected to carry out the following tasks:
• Process in a timely fashion ad hoc deals & external switches.
• Assist with the timely update of all contract notes.
• Assist in the timely process of scheme contribution investments & lifestyle phase switches.
• Respond to Investment Manager and internal queries.
• Maintain accurate data on the core administration system.
• Monitor the receipt and payment of all transactions from Trustee bank accounts.
• Maintain the reconciled position between the bank account, the core administration system and the investment manager.
• Ensure processes are completed within the agreed targets and deadlines and communicate progress.

Performance Objectives:

Excellence
• Communicate effectively with investment managers when required via the telephone.
• Identify areas where the service to clients/members could be improved and communicate to Administration Coordinator/Administration Controller.
• Deal with simple queries and requests from investment managers and WTW teams.
• Monitor own workflow to ensure service levels are achieved.
• Accurately perform manual calculations.

People
• Assist the wider team in more complex / project work when required.
• Support colleagues for holiday cover and workload peaks.

Clients
• Help to provide an efficient, professional service to meet all client/members’ needs and to promote the Willis Towers Watson brand.
• Develop knowledge of clients pension schemes.

Financial
• Ensure timely completion of timesheets.

The Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft packages and good IT skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Numerical and accurate.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• An interest in the investment process.
• Good keyboard and data entry skills.
• Pass at C or above for Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent.
• Demonstrate an organised approach and an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
