Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a self-motivated candidate to work within Willis Re Specialty in providing business finance support. The position will be focused on assisting the Finance Business Partner in regular monthly reporting and analytics, various ad hoc analyses, as well as providing input to the monthly forecasting and annual planning exercises. The role will involve establishing strong working relationships with the Willis Re central finance team, Specialty Operating Committee and various contacts within the Ipswich client servicing team.

The Role

·  Work closely with Finance Business Partner (FBP) to streamline processes and plan strategies for overall Line of Business (LOB)
·  Maintain the Willis Re Budgeting/Forecasting tool
·  Assist in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
·  Preparation of monthly and weekly reports, including data to support revenue, cost and sales pipeline analysis
·  Maintain standard revenue and expense analytics for regular distribution to the business 
·  Support the Finance Business Partner with any adhoc finance requests

The Requirements

·  Excellent MS Excel, with basic knowledge of PowerPoint and Word 
·  Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial messages to non-finance colleagues
·  Strong problem solving skills 
·  Ability to work independently and hit tight deadlines
·  Ability to collaborate with others across segments, LOBs, and regions 
·  Attention to accuracy and detail 
·  Work with integrity, due skill, care and diligence
