We are now looking specifically for a Buyer for our Casting & Forging Department. A quick overview of the missions:

Location: Sweden/Gothenburg - Duration: 13 months
 

What you will do:

 

·  You will manage the purchasing for products used by the Volvo Group Brands on a worldwide scale, in close collaboration with the local buyers and Segment Leader. 
·  You will drive various activities in commodity mode (commercial discussions, supply chain resiliency, technical developments support, etc) and in sourcing mode (RFQ package definition, supplier benchmark, supplier selection process driving, presentations to management, etc).
·  You will also contribute to the purchasing strategy and secure its implementation in your scope.

We believe that you have an academic degree in engineering, business or similar. We hope you have an experience in purchasing where you have demonstrated accountability and a willingness to learn new things. We know that you love to cooperate and build strong business relationships. Purchasing experience from an international business environment with global suppliers would be considered as a plus.
