What you will do

Support sales and pricing analysis by developing, implementing and analyzing sales and pricing programs, initiatives, tools, data management to drive profitable growth, market share and increase customer base for Volvo Truck brand.

 

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

•    Sales support including data analysis, sales reporting, and creating presentations
•    Pipeline management and forecasting 
•    Understand quote to invoice process to balance channel mix and profit objectives.
•    Assist in management of commercial pricing, profitability and sales analysis for North American regions 
•    Analyze sales trends and dealer operating standards to drive sales performance
•    Develop, implement and follow up on KPIs to measure sales productivity ( quoted participation, awareness, conversion and inventory management)
•    Analyze sales capacity and competency of retail dealer network and implement recruitment and retention strategies/programs
•    Support Sales and marketing group and dealers with Customer Relationship Management Tool (CRM) driving user acceptance, customer data cleansing, trend analysis, and providing business opportunities/requirements
•    Support sales group in annual business planning process and facilitating development of specific sales initiatives to achieve objectives
•    Support annual sales incentive plan by monitoring dealer retail objectives and communicating objectives and incentives achieved to dealers
•    Manage various sales programs to drive new business to conquest customers, support data management, and communicate with dealer professionals 
•    Analyze and follow up on growth strategy achievements by dealer and segment Ad-hoc reporting that falls under Commercial Operations
•    Polk vs. Warranty registrations customer name audit

•    Proven ability to analyze market situations, identify opportunities and develop strategies/solutions to achieve sales objectives
•    Strong Customer Focus
•    Strategic and Creative thinking
•    Thorough understanding of data analysis and interpretation
•    Strong organizational skills with the ability to function in a fast paced, demanding environment
•    Individual must be a highly motivated self-starter
•    Highly skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks
•    Excellent verbal, written, and presentations skills, including proficiency in email, MS Office software applications (Power BI, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Salesforce CRM tool.
•    Detail oriented

Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates

•    Bachelors degree in business management or related discipline, preferred 
•    1-2 years’ experience in heavy truck industry or related industry
•    Advanced level in Microsoft Excel and Power BI

 

Preferred Experience and Knowledge 
•    Masters Degree
•    3-5 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing
