Parts Support Operative / Van Driver
Monday to Friday: 0800hrs to 1600hrs (1/2 hr unpaid lunch)
· Any additional Saturday hours @ time and a half
Salary up to £14.50 per hour dependent upon experience
Join the team at Volvo Truck and Bus Ipswich — a leading name in commercial vehicles — as a Parts Support Operative / Van Driver . We’re looking for a reliable, customer focused individual to support our busy Parts Department with deliveries, collections, and warehouse operations
What you will do
· Deliver and collect parts to and from customers, suppliers, and other Volvo sites.
· Support the parts department with stock control, goods in/out, and warehouse organisation.
· Assist customers and colleagues with parts enquiries in person and over the phone.
· Maintain delivery paperwork, vehicle condition, and ensure all health & safety procedures are followed.
· Provide exceptional customer service at every interaction
Who are you?
We are looking for:
· Full UK driving licence (clean or minimal points).
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
· Previous experience in a parts, warehouse, or delivery role is an advantage.
