Position Responsibilities
· Manufacturing Production Scheduling work focuses on scheduling production activities, such as processing, assembly, painting, packaging, etc.
· Implementing scheduling changes due to backlogs, design changes, machine downtime or material/labor shortages
· Flex PSKU – responsible for resolving issues within scheduling and be the first point of contact for any issues
· Coordinate the rescheduling of a truck with all necessary parties
· Responsible for testing after software and server updates
· On-call support as necessary
· Prioritize the order of requests
· Responsible for building test trucks for the paint process teams and others
· Escalate order issues to the necessary parties involved
· Mitigate downtime by working with the business unit managers to prioritize by plant (RVO, LVO, NRV)
· Work independently with general supervision
· Participate and provide input to continuous improvement initiatives/projects impacting owned systems, processes, and continued efficiency of operations (ex. EWO, Kaizen)
· Excellent computer skills are needed for this position
· Maintenance of the Cab Factory in a factory planning system (PLS)
· Able to work all shifts as needed, daily overtime, and/or doubles could include weekends
Education and Experience Requirements
· 2 to 5 years of working experience with production experience and scheduling
· High school diploma or GED
