About this Role

The Remarketing Intern position at Volvo Construction Equipment offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of finance and business control. This internship is designed for individuals who are passionate about sustainable transport solutions and are eager to contribute to a global organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the Remarketing Financial and Business Control team, assisting in various tasks that are crucial for the effective management of used equipment and inventory. Interns will engage in a variety of responsibilities, including inventory management, logistics coordination, and finance interface. They will be involved in the audit of the used equipment fleet, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date. The role will also require the creation and submission of purchase orders (POs), machine and rental invoicing, and the review of work orders. Additionally, interns will conduct data research and analytics to support the team in making informed decisions regarding the used equipment market. The internship will provide valuable exposure to the inner workings of the Remarketing Financial and Business Control team, allowing interns to develop reporting forms on used equipment market values, market dynamics, and dealer sales performance. This role is ideal for students who are currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance and are looking to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting while contributing to the company's mission of building a sustainable future.

Responsibilities

· 
Assist in inventory management and logistics coordination.

· 
Create and submit purchase orders (POs) and verify them.

· 
Handle machine and rental invoicing processes.

· 
Review work orders for accuracy and completeness.

· 
Conduct data research and analytics to support decision-making.

· 
Perform fleet audits to confirm hours, physical locations, and specifications.

· 
Develop reporting forms on used equipment market values and dynamics for management.

· 
Support export sales functions, including POs and related processes.

Requirements

· 
Currently enrolled in an accredited school pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.

· 
Completed at least 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.

· 
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.

· 
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

· 
Strong analytical and administrative skills with attention to detail.

· 
Good communication and networking skills.

· 
Demonstrated integrity and a business mindset.

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00.The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
