About this Role
We are seeking for a passionate ML/AI Engineer to accelerate our innovation journey and develop intelligent systems to seamlessly process, understand, and retrieve multimodal information.
This role requires deep expertise in the design, creation, management, and business use of large datasets, across a variety of data platforms.
You should have excellent business and interpersonal skills to be able to work with business owners to understand data requirements, and to build ETL to ingest the data into the data lake.
You should be an authority at crafting, implementing, and operating stable, scalable, low cost solutions to flow data from production systems into the data lake.
Above all, you should be passionate about working with huge data sets and someone who loves to bring datasets together to answer business questions and drive growth.
You will develop state-of-the-art models with optimizing performance, partnering with different domains to deploy and debug model performance in production, and building and scaling quality training data sets.
This is a role that combines engineering knowledge(machine learning, NLP etc.), product knowledge and technical strengths to implement models, product integrations and performance optimizations releases into production.
What you will do
- You will envision, design and develop data solutions to scale data. Work across multiple teams to integrate our solutions with products owned by our partners.
- You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data/ETL pipelines leveraging big data technologies and modern BI products to effectively meet the rapidly growing and dynamic demands of rich data.
- Help the team grow and cultivate best practices in software development, MLOps, and experimentation.
- You will help org move towards data as a service model to improve influence on day-to-day business decisions.
- You will influence and guide other data engineers, business intelligence engineers, tech team members and leaders to make informed data decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop data products, infrastructure and data pipelines leveraging cloud services
- Develop new data models and end to data pipelines.
- Lead design reviews for other Data Engineers and Business Analysts on the team and actively participate in design reviews of related tech products.
- Provide technical and thought leadership for Machine Learning and/or AI
- Create and implement Data Governance strategy for mitigating privacy and security risks.
Who are you?
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or related field.
· Strong programming skills in languages such as Python is desired.
· Proven experience as a professional with a focus on Azure cloud platform.
· Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database systems.
· Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning is essential.
· Familiarity with ML models(Regressions, Decision Trees, Neural Network etc.) is a must.
· Basic understanding of model deployment tools is expected.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Advanced knowledge of performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.
· Major completed project on ML/AI is a plus. Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch etc. is a plus.
· Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
