What will you do
At Volvo Trucks, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.
During the internship, you will be trained in the appropriate courses and computer systems necessary to support the Project Office. You will be exposed to many of the facets of project management, including the use and application of project models and tools that are critical to the successful implementation of product and industrial modifications and introductions.
Considering the project portfolio of the Project Office, there are projects at various levels of maturity, from project initiation to implementation, which will give you a broad range of exposure to the lifecycle of a project. Additionally, nearly all of these projects run on multi-million dollar budgets.
You will assist the project managers in various tasks, and will play a key role in updating and formalizing the processes that are used regularly within the team. Our goal is to secure that you will gain an understanding of project management in the manufacturing environment, and have as much practical application as possible.
Who are you?
· Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
· Applicants must be pursuing an Engineering or Business undergraduate degree at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
· Applicants should be interested in pursuing a professional career in a manufacturing facility upon graduation.
· Applicants should also have a working knowledge of CAD Programs, MSWord, MSExcel, and Statistical Analysis calculations. Experience with Visio is also preferred

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
