The Role:

The Enterprise IT organisation is primarily focused on supporting the delivery of high quality products and richly featured propositions for business customers across our strategic go-to market Practices: Unified Communications & Connectivity, Cloud & Security and Internet of Things. Our objective is to deliver the best customer experience in the industry and for Vodafone to be recognised as the #1 Digital Telco for Enterprise. Enterprise IT also supports our major IT transformation programmes and associated projects.

The role is responsible for the effective delivery of test lab services to both the Product Practices and EIT programmes. At the present time we have responsibility for test labs in Watford, Bracknell, Leeds and Glasgow.

In this role you will have responsibility for:

· Day to day test lab management
· Supplier day to day service management
· Service reporting, KPI’s, SLA management
· Capacity and demand planning
· Health & safety risk management
· Development of future lab strategy

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

· Provide day to day technical leadership for the test lab service.
· Act as the single point of contact for all lab service issues with key stakeholders within IT, Product Practices and Property/Facilities Management
· Manage requests for demand, provide capacity management for the labs
· Manage service provider resources in accordance with managed service contract(s)
· Provide thought leadership and guidance on evolution of test lab strategy.
Key performance indicators:
· Adherence to agreed lab service KPI’s
· Management of agreed service level agreements
· Demonstrable thought leadership in test lab innovation
· No Budget, direct or dotted reports
