Job Description

Job Purpose: Addressing warranty-related matters arising throughout the contracted warranty period

Job Role

Proven experience in managing post-contract phases, addressing deferred issues, and overseeing completion works.

Comprehensive understanding of contractual obligations, including pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance guarantees.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve as the primary point of contact for clients post-contract.

Ability to address client inquiries, manage warranty-related issues, and ensure client satisfaction.

Proficient in conducting handover meetings and receiving detailed handover reports from outgoing project managers.

Capability to assess the contract status and ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.

Skill in recording and reporting on relevant issues to senior management on a monthly basis.

Ability to maintain accurate records of costs related to completion works and warranty obligations.

Expertise in coordinating and liaising with internal departments, disciplines, and the original project team as needed.

Effective involvement in progressing actions and resolving issues arising in the post-contract phase.

Development of effective feedback systems to keep senior management and heads of departments informed of post-contract progress.

Utilisation of monthly reports for transparent communication and awareness.

Confidence in making final decisions and implementing measures to ensure successful project conclusions.

Skill in maintaining positive relationships with clients, internal teams, and external parties.

Involvement of the original project team and relevant departments as necessary.

Capability to seek consultation and guidance from internal specialists in areas such as Process Technology, Engineering, and Quality Control.

Qualifications

Educated to a degree level (or equivalent work-related experience)

Excellent written and verbal communicator at all levels

Accurate worker with good attention to detail

Ability to work on their initiative

·
