Job Title: Transport Administrator

Salary: Up to £22,000 depending on experience plus Veolia Benefits *please see below

Location: Colchester

Hours: 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

What you'll do

The Transport Administrator will ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment remain the number one priority within the service operation, providing a safe workplace for employees. You will work with the Service Manager to effectively raise an order, system entries, filing, data processing and other administrative duties within the office.

You will be tasked on the delivery of service, recovery of the situation, effective customer communication and affection driver communication. You will ensure all allocated vehicles and planned effectively and all customer requirements are implemented effectively to improve performance.

The Transport Administrator will ensure driver compliance through effective debrief to process and assist the service manager in People Management processes.

You will liaise with the drivers to ensure first-class customer service is consistently being delivered by coordinating and motivating drivers to maintain good attendance and a can-do attitude.

Where you'll work

You will be based at the Veolia Colchester office.

You will coordinate and control service administration duties and help with the delivery in a safe and compliant manner and in line with Company Policies and Procedures. The Service Administrator will assist in the implementation of target levels of operational efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications :

The experience you will need

You will need to be educated to O'level standard or equivalent, along with being IT literate. This role will be predominantly using your IT skills.

You will need to be good at planning and organising and have strong communication due to the nature of the role.
