Job Title Service Coordinator

What you'll do
As the Service Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating and controlling service delivery in a safe and compliant manner and in line with Company Policies and Procedures as well as assisting in the implementation of target levels of operational efficiency and customer service whilst maintaining compliance with Company standards and statutory regulations.
You will ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment remains the number one priority within the transport operation, providing a safe workplace for employees, you will guarantee an excellent service is delivered and work with the Service Manager to make any necessary improvements to service delivery. You will also ensure all allocated vehicles are routed effectively and meet productivity targets as set by the Service and Business Manager, new customer requirements are met and effectively routed to improve round efficiency and performance and that driver compliance through effective debrief process, specifically Tachographs, Wims System Utilisation, Overweights, Working Time Directive.
The Service Coordinator will be required to deliver a first class customer service, work closely with Regional and National Account Managers, CSD and the Sales Team to maintain and foster good customer relations and ensure customer risk assessments are carried out and all legal requirements regarding waste collections are adhered to. You will coordinate and engage with drivers and operatives, assist the Service Manager to ensure People management processes and procedures are adhered to in line with company policies and ensure all Veolia policies, processes and procedures are adhered to. You will also be required to oversee that all safety concerns and near misses are logged on Rivo and closed off within the company's agreed timescales and proper feedback is provided to originators and support the Service Manager with insurance claim investigations.
Where you'll work
You will work in a busy Service Office with the Service Manager, Service Coordinator, Administrator Coordinator and 2 other Administrators. We operate Commercial waste and Recycling collections in and around Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. This is done from a large depot at Lincoln with a Commercial Vehicle Workshop and some strategical out based locations.
Experience you will need
To enable you to do this role you will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent experience, be IT literate, possess strong communication skills and have good Planning and organisational skills.
The ideal candidate would be a CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) holder and have an IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) certification, however this is not essential and can be obtained during role.
