Job Description
Within the Process team composed of five Process Engineers and reporting to Process Director , as a Process Engineer , you will be responsible for:

Design and optimize evaporation and crystallization processes for various industrial applications
·
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, sales managers, project engineers and project managers.
·
Conduct technical and economic evaluation of process alternatives.
·
Provide technical support during plant commissioning and start-ups.
·
Attend and conduct meetings and presentations with clients in cooperation with sales managers to understand drivers and advocate for Veolia solution (technical selling).
·
Develop process flow diagrams, heat and material balances, preliminary general arrangements, equipment specifications and preliminary control philosophy.
·
Collaborate with vendors for equipment selection and costing.
·
Interface with the estimating department to insure proposed scope of supply is well understood.
·
Work with tender groups and sales managers to produce commercial proposals for firm inquiries.
·
Collaborate with other members of the process group and share technical information. Support internal activities and initiatives to maintain and build upon collective design knowledge and design tools.
·
Maintain accurate records of client communications, process designs basis, and trip reports.
·
Assist with evaluations (desktop and field) of existing equipment installations provided by Veolia or others to identify potential improvements or optimization.
·
Interface with R&D group to identify testing protocols to support process design.
·
Interface with Project group during execution to ensure proper application of the “as sold” process design. Includes review and approval of various drawings and specifications.

Interface with service group to insure smooth startup and to gather feedback on actual operation vs. design
Qualifications
Do you have an educational background in Chemical Engineering and at least 3 years experience in process design, preferably in evaporation and crystallization processes and strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and mass transfer principles?
Do you have a high level of English and Spanish?
Do you have excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills? Are you available to travel internationally?
