In our ongoing efforts to develop more sustainable water, waste and energy solutions, Veolia are launching our latest venture in sustainable energy management. We are entering the world of energy aggregation and building a brand new team across the trading and demand flex functions underpinned by intelligent systems. Our aim is to source, store and distribute energy to allow our customers to serve their energy requirements in a smarter and more cost effective way. Based in London, this is a unique opportunity to join a startup business within the energy trading team and evolve our offering from infancy to front line delivery, whilst benefiting from the expertise and brand of the leader in sustainable resource solutions.
What you’ll do
This is a busy role, the Data Science Analyst will be trained to act as the conduit for all systems & invoicing as well as building and maintaining our system. You will eventually take responsibility for power contract settlements of the merchant power fleet and also the demand-side portfolio, so attention to detail is a must! Once the contracts are up and running, you will support the relationships with energy suppliers and system operators as well as overseeing all financial settlements and validation.
