Job Title Mobile Service Engineer
Salary £32,000.00 + Callout allowance + Benefits
Hours 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What you’ll do
As a Mobile Service Engineer you will be expected to work alone or as part of a team carrying out service and maintenance tasks on a wide range of CHP’S and associated plant throughout the Midlands and Northwest, you will maintain client satisfaction whilst optimising company revenue and work with your team to deliver “Outstanding Customer Service”.
You will be expected to be part of the on call weekend rota which is approximately 1 in 4 weekends for which you will receive an additional standby payment and overtime when called out. Other overtime although not regular may be required. You will also be required to attend training courses both in the UK and abroad as dictated by you Line Manager so a passport will be required.
You will demonstrate a high standard of personal appearance, always wearing the full and correct uniform, complete administrative tasks promptly and professionally and ensure that your vehicle is serviced on time and maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.To have a full and up-to-date knowledge of Veolia products and services.
Where you’ll work
You will work as part of a team of Service Engineers carrying out Servicing and maintenance tasks on customers premises as directed by the Team leader around the Midlands and Northwest, a company van will be provided.
Experience you will need
Experience of CHP and Engine rebuilds would be an advantage and we are looking for someone with good electrical fault finding skills , excellent mechanical aptitude and preferably Gas safe registered.
You should be qualified to minimum O.N.C., or have appropriate qualifications in a mechanical and or electrical engineering subject. Experience on the MTU, Janbacher and Cummins CHP, is a definite advantage.
All tools, equipment, PPE etc will be provided for this role and possession of a full and valid U.K. driving license is essential.
