We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to work in our Dispersions & Pigments (ED) business unit as part of our Wyandotte site.
This position is expected to lead and manage all maintenance roles and processes within the ED Dispersion & Resins Plant and the Amino Resins Complex. This includes all manufacturing, shipping, and lab equipment, building equipment and infrastructure, rotating, stationary, and instrument and electrical equipment located within the Resins Plant and Amino Resins CompleX. This position is responsible for executing the MPI maintenance process, establishing and executing a reliability strategy throughout the area, and ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence.

Formula for Success
 

·  Utilizing your 10 years of industry experience with an associate degree in instrumentation, electrical, mechanical or other technical field OR at least 12 years of Maintenance experience with a high school diploma (or equivalent). Applicable industry experience in mechanical or instrument and electrical maintenance with a minimum of 8 years of journey-level industrial maintenance experience.  Supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
·  Day-to-day duties include: Leadership and supervision of Maintenance organization and activities. (Maintenance team includes mechanical and E/I Maintenance personnel and Administrative Assistant). Supports team development and positive morale. Assistance with maintenance planning & scheduling, reliability, and regulator activities.
·  Works closely with Maintenance Planner/Scheduler and Resins Gatekeeper to coordinate maintenance activities.  Serves as Gatekeeper function for Amino Resins Complex.  Partnerships and collaboration with the following additional teams: Plant Operations Engineering, Gatekeeper, Shift Supervisors, Maintenance crew, outside Contractors, EHS team, Engineering teams.  Additional coordination with Resins Plant and Amino Resins Complex operations management to minimize business impacts.
·  Working knowledge of: precision maintenance techniques (Laser alignment, etc.), fixed equipment (tanks, piping valves, fittings, etc.), pumps/motors, dryers/heaters, HVAC, preventative Maintenance practices & philosophy, state & federal regulations and codes.
·  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software – excel, word, power point, etc. to create periodic reports for safety, budget, audit compliance, etc.  Additional working knowledge of SAP is preferred
·  Support reliability processes to drive improvements, optimize costs, and improve asset effectiveness.  Provide input on the maintenance spending budget and strive to keep spending within the budget.
·  Compliance with all environmental, safety, and health requirements and fosters and injury-free workplace by establishing high safety and housekeeping standards.  Participate in and initiate MOCs (Management of Change), PSSRs (Pre-Startup Safety Review), PHAs (Process Hazard Analysis), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and other regulatory processes as required.  
·  Development and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs and best practices for mechanical and E/I equipment.  Involved in root cause failure analysis of equipment failures and implements corrective actions.
·  The Maintenance Supervisor will have the ability to: work in a team environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships with all department at the facilities.  Select, motivate, lead and evaluate staff and provide for their training and development.  Strong leadership capability is needed.  Plan, prioritize, organize, estimate, coordinate, assign, review and evaluate the work of the maintenance crews. 
·  Additional skillsets needed include: excellent communication skills (written & verbal). Strong problem solving /troubleshooting skills.  Knowledge of safety practices, safe working methods, and safety regulations.  Eagerness and ability to drive continuous improvement.
