This position is based on our clients site - Cleveland Potash Site, Boulby, North Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £34,000.00 depending on experience
Hours: 42 hours per week
Where you'll work
You will be working within our technician team on a range of industrial plant and machinery based on our client site.
Cleveland Potash is a producer and supplier of potash fertilizers for agriculture and industry uses. Cleveland's salt products meet a variety of needs from road maintenance to sugar beet cultivation and as an ingredient in animal feed.
What you'll do
As the Multi Skilled Technician you will be required to work on a large range of industrial boilers,
combustion equipment and CHP engines. This will include planned preventative maintenance and repair of multi-utility plant sites, including multi- fuel boilers and associated burner systems, steam systems, MTHW systems, LTHW heating systems, control systems, pumps, motors, electrical infrastructure, oil systems, fault diagnosis, repair and some minor installation works.
Training will be provided for a qualified tradesperson with the aptitude to retrain in this industry. Chosen applicant must be willing to multi-skill as necessary.
Ideal candidate profile
The experience you will need
To enable you to carry out this role you will be apprentice trained and hold a HNC engineering
(electrical or mechanical) or ONC engineering (electrical or mechanical) qualification.
You will ideally have a 17TH edition IEE regulations plus amendments, have COSHH awareness and IOSH core.
You will possess sound electrical fault finding skills.
A gas safe qualification would be beneficial.
Gas and oil combustion experience along with CHP experience would be desirable.
