Job Title: Contract Administrator

Location Hull

Grade 4.1

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience

We are looking for a Contract Administrator to join our recently relocated team in Hull. You will be responsible for providing core administration activities in an accurate and timely manner, using agreed business systems and processes.

What you’ll do,

The successful candidate will provide support to enable the operations, finance and business managers to manage the business effectively and to provide a high level of customer satisfaction to both internal and external Customers.

Day to day responsibilities:

Accountable for core administration function.

·
Maintain good financial, process and Client service levels and KPI’s.

·
Support and assist local members of administration, finance and operations teams as required by the Business.

·
Build strong relationships with all internal and external customers and suppliers.

·
Ensure prompt processing of information and response to internal and external enquiries and opportunities.

·
Ensure work processes are consistently applied and business systems maintained efficiently.

·
Assist Management with the production of reports and ad-hoc data.

·
The role holder has no direct supervisory responsibility. They are however an integral part of their local team and the operational team to which they support.

·
Liaise and work with Contract Managers as well as the BDE’s, Operations Manager and Business Manager.

·
Role holder also interfaces with other VES operational divisions.

·
Responsible for efficiently delivering and supporting administration functions including Payroll, Purchasing, Invoicing, Reporting and Costing.

·
Responsible for maintaining the quality of data, reconciling and inputting for administration business systems.

Seeked profile

Qualifications :

What you’ll need,

· 
GCSE qualifications, minimum Maths and English.

· 
Experience in an administrative clerical role which involved customer contact.

· 
Preferably waste management experience. Alternative backgrounds will be considered - could be other customer interfacing/service industry roles.

· 
IT Literacy skills including Microsoft Office (particularly good standard skills in Excel required).

· 
Self-motivated with the ability to work in an isolated role with the sole responsibility for the contract administration.

· 
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.

· 
Full UK Driving License desirable but not essential.

· 
AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) desirable but not essential.

· 
Flexible approach to problem solving.

· 
Analytical and good eye for detail.

· 
Excellent communication and organisational skills.

· 
Commitment and drive to maintain and improve company standards.
