What you'll do
Your Administrative duties will involve two interactive roles and departments. Mainly working within the busy London Borough of Tower Hamlets Enforcement office for a large part of your working day before moving over to the Commercial Waste department for the latter part of the day.
Within the Commercial Waste department you will be covering general administrative duties, such as filing, logging data, taking calls and dealing with customer queries. Duties for the Commercial Waste Enforcement Team will consist of both administrative and technical support. Technical support includes but is not restricted to data input, analysis, maintenance of various databases, recording of enforcement warning letters, statutory notices, compilation of Fixed Penalty Notices and submission of requests to the contractor via Siebel. The post holder should have excellent skills in the following areas in order to undertake the role: Excel, Word, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook, also ideally have knowledge of both Siebel and Access (although training will be given on these two systems if necessary) and be prepared to complete training as/when new systems are introduced.
The above is a summary of main duties only, other duties may be required to be fulfilled to meet the changing nature of this role.
