Job Description

Our Warehouse Operatives are seen as a main drive of the operation and fulfilling customer needs. By carrying out picking/goods-in/goods-out tasks with the use of provided tools, you will be able to provide that customer service within the level and timescale expected. Our ethos is focused on the development of our people engagement culture which produces highly engaged individuals that deliver continuous implement and meaningful customer collaboration within our customer's business creating the platform to deliver profitable growth and deliver as promised.This role has responsibility to ensure that products are processed and handled correctly throughout the warehouse environment utilising MHE, manual handling and the appropriate computer systems to achieve and fulfil customer requirements efficiently, accurately and safely.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

·  Carry out assigned tasks including: picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, MHE duties and the processing of returns. Ensure that all customers are served politely, timely and with correct stock levels

·  Carry out assigned administrative tasks including but not limited to: allocation of orders and the booking in and out of stock

·  Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and carry out other assigned computer based tasks as required

·  Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas. Undertake any other duties that may be assigned. Deputise in the absence of the Team Leader

·  Operate to trained work instructions e.g. ABC Modules/ WI. Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy. Comply with all Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace

·  Comply and contribute to the KN 5S standards within the working area. Action weekly, monthly and quarterly QSHE checks

·  Achieve individual and team productivity performance standards including accuracy. Adopt and work in accordance with KN Anchor Principles and Behaviours

·  24/7 Critical call out on Rota System, driving 3.5t Vehicle serving remote customer

Your Skills and Experience

·  Experience of working to agreed targets

·  Full driving licence

·  PC literate (where applicable). MHE licence (where applicable)

·  Understanding of warehouse practises e.g. picking, loading
·  Ability to work individually or as part of a team

·  Reliable and committed to attending work on time

·  Flexibility to task and hours; to suit operation

·  Good Communication skills
