Objective
To implement and maintain UPS Human Resources policies in UPS Dublin in accordance with established guidelines and procedures: to advise and support line management on HR related matters: to provide a human resource service to line and department managers in the functional areas detailed below.

Health & Safety

Main Responsibilities:

 Implement and maintain Human Resources policies in accordance with established guidelines and procedures  Ensure Health and Safety procedures are in place  Assist with Health and Safety reporting  Arrange/co-ordinate internal and external training in safety related areas e.g.: First Aid, Fire Safety

Recruitment

Main Responsibilities:

 Meet monthly recruitment targets  Sourcing suitable candidates – advertising press/internet/job agencies  Fielding calls from recruitment agencies and meeting with them on site  Screening CVs  Set up & conduct interviews both internal and external  Representing UPS to interview candidates in a professional manner  Reference checking – compliance requirements  Issuing contracts  Organising and presenting induction to new hires  Travel to facilitate recruitment when necessary (within Ireland)  Represent UPS at recruitment fairs  Ensure recruitment reports are up to date

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements

 Previous HR experience/education advantageous  Full driving license
