POSITION SUMMARY

UPS Supply Chain Solutions are seeking to recruit a Freight Account Executive to identifynew business and maintain existing business in the mid-market range. This position also promotes business relationships internally to identify opportunities for sharing business leads and conducting joint sales calls.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
·  Make sales visits to existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction
·  Make sales visits to prospective customers to introduce our company and services to win new business
·  Check that customers actual volume and revenue is similar to original expectations
·  Investigate reasons and take corrective action for any discrepancies
·  Complete all necessary documentation to ensure that rates agreed with the customer are communicated to finance
·  Ensure the centre staff are fully aware of any unusual requirements agreed with the customer
·  Complete all reporting procedures as required by the country Business Development Manager
·  Achieve all targets as set down by the Business Development Manager
·  Prepare and present presentations to major customers and prospects
·  Prepare and present projects at monthly sales meetings and other meetings as required

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Two years field sales experience
·  Ability to work on own initiative
·  Flexibility and ability to work in a busy environment
·  Able to work in a targeted driven environment.
·  Work well as part of a team
·  Full clean driving licence held for at least one year
