Job Title: Technical Operator
Location: Crumlin
Salary / Grade: £27,396.00 total pay including shift, benefits include 25 days holiday, excellent pension and financial bonus based on onsite performance.
Department: Production
Responsible to: Shift Leader

Hours and Leave: 25 days holiday a year, 8 bank holidays,13 Fridays off a year.
22.00- 6.00 am Monday to Friday


MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

To be a Production Operator as part of the team running the production line with additional responsibilities to improve the site safety, quality, output and waste by taking ownership and resolving line issues as well as working alongside engineers in project work to tackle the root cause of issues. During maintenance periods you will complete standard maintenance procedures, line improvements and more extensive maintenance tasks. You will also complete some running checks on the production line.

JOB SUMMARY:
· Be a machine operator running the production line with additional responsibilities
· Be the initial response engineering issues such as breakdowns, minor stoppages and line adjustments
· Support Engineers with more extensive breakdowns
· Work autonomously on maintenance activities and line improvements
· Follow rigorous safety quality and environmental standards at all times

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
· NVQ level 2 in mechanical engineering or equivalent
· Basic computer skills

DESIRABLE:

· Some basic engineering skills at home or at work.
· TPM Techniques including Autonomous Maintenance, 5 Why Analysis
