Job Title: Global Procurement Assistant Manager – Folding Cartons, Pots & Lids, Aseptic Pack
Location: Kingston, Port Sunlight
JOB PURPOSE
Support the execution of the Global Folding Cartons, Paper Pods and Lids and Aseptic Pack strategy delivering the most competitive and differentiating value chain for Unilever together with our Suppliers and internal colleagues. Value covers all elements including cost competitiveness, innovation, quality and service and sustainability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio Transformation:
·
Work closely with the Global and European Manager in the design of the global and European strategy for the portfolio.
·
Support the implementation (commercial validation and follow up) of the key Global/EU projects (inc packaging optimization and sustainability agenda)
·
Work with the Legal Counsel and Procurement Manager in the preparation of global commercial agreements using Unilever contractual operating framework.
·
Support Sustainability programs with special focus on supporting, driving and executing the Global Innovation agenda (plastic elimination).
Digital:
·
Perform exploratory data analysis (connect internal and external data)
·
Preparing accurate reports, conducting, and evaluating analysis and exploring dashboards for strategy decisions.
·
Support strategy presentations (powerpoint and Powerbi)
·
Support the Managers and Top Management in the KPIs reporting and follow up
ALL ABOUT YOU
ESSENTIAL:
·
Excellent analytical and IT skills: SAP, SAP CLM, Power Bi, Anaplan, Tableau knowledge
·
Excellent Microsoft office package skills (Excel mandatorily)
·
University degree / MBA or Master Engineer
·
Relevant procurement experience in international environment in Strategic Sourcing
·
Supply Market Intelligence and Analysis - Collecting Relevant Information: Analyzing Supply and Demand Market Experience in supply and portfolio strategy development
·
Ability to engage in a Cross functional team
·
Bias for action and strong executor
·
Fluent English and communication skills

Project management skills

Recruitment Fraud
Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
How is Unilever tackling this?
Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.
