Job description

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
Due to an internal promotion, an Assistant Customer Manager position is now available in our Hot Tea and Spreads team.

Managing a key retail customer relationship, the Assistant Customer Manager (also known as an Account Manager) is a critical role in our business, partnering with our category, marketing and finance teams- along with the customer Buyers.

The Assistant Customer Manager will work with the overarching Category Manager across the development and implementation of the customer business development plan as well as the development of tactical solutions across the areas of ranging, pricing, merchandising, promotions and in store activations.

JOB SUMMARY

· Development, implementation and achievement of business development plan
· Achievement and management of volume and trade spend forecast and targets
· Development of tactical solutions across the areas of ranging, pricing, merchandising, promotions and in store activations

KEY REQUIREMENTS

· Account management and relationship management experience
· Previous experience in a strategic/ insights or analysis based role
· Previous experience working towards targets
· Previous experience working towards deadlines
· Exposure to financial or commercial decision making
· Experience within either FMCG, media agency, marketing or sales functions are regarded highly, as is anyone possessing tertiary education.
