Job description
. Capability Building Assessment and Planning
· Develop and conduct Training Needs Assessment
· Develop and prepare Training programs and interventions to unlock skills and improve performance
· Oversee the creation training manuals, online learning modules and other educational materials
· Assist the head of IC Academy in identifying gaps by way of on-field intervention reports
· Co-Plan with the CD Managers the training agenda
2. Embed the Training Programs
· Administer and Facilitate classroom training sessions to direct and 3PA
· Take on the role of the lead trainor for all training sessions in the objective of being able to teach new or update concepts, processes and systems
· Co-Develop set of training KPIs and monitoring for direct and 3PA to be useas a measure of the impact of training from Pre-training (TNA), Embed (actual training), Post-training (evaluation)
3. Follow-Through
· Establish rigorous monitoring and evaluation of training KPIs
· Maintain a training inventory database for direct and 3PA
· Engage CD Leaders and front liners as to the progress or opportunities arising from field implementation and practice
· Develop a “full package” approach (progression by role) for all positions
4. Sustainability of the Training and Development
· Establish sustainability of concepts, principles and practices learned by CD and 3PA
· Lead in facilitating the sharing of wins, best practice, improvements & learning by creating a learning platform
· Teach Managers new ways to resolve performance issues using training intervention tools
· Evaluate effectiveness of the training programs, review course evaluation and recommend course revisions / updates
