Assistant QA Manager - 12 month FTC

The Role

In this 12 Month Fixed term role you will have the chance to learn from an amazing supply chain team that has been number 1 in Australia for the last three years. In this role you will be required to lend your expertise to support the Tatura site through delivery of quality improvement projects and audit compliance, under the leadership of the Quality Manager. Other duties include:

· Maintain and lead improvements to the site management system
· Achieve site quality KPI's through delivery of key quality projects
· Ensure compliance to FSSC22000 V4.1 and other site regulatory requirements
· Lead HACCP reviews and maintain site HACCP documentation
· Research consumer complaints
· Demonstrate a quality mindset and be seen as a quality leader
· Oversee compliance to GMP and cleaning standards
· Support internal and external audits for the site
· Provide technical support to production
· Represent quality on capital and new product innovation project teams
· Support site Microbiologist sampling, testing and analysis

You

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

· Bachelor of Science (Food Science/Food Technology) or equivalent
· Strong communications skills, written and verbal
· Excellent organisational skills
· Sound thermal processing and/or microbiology background
· Working knowledge of quality systems (depending on experience)
