The Role:

As Unilever Procurement adapts to the ever-dynamic business environment, we will need to be agile in order to continue our track record of delivery in contributing to the top and bottom line. Inevitably, given the consistent and high quality of our delivery over the past few years, we will be asked to continue this rate of performance and indeed go over and above this standard to ensure the value provided is further enhanced across the scope of our remit.

As well as ensuring that we are best in class in delivering the basics, we also have to look to the future and continuously evolve to meet the needs of our changing environment - reinventing ourselves for sustained competitive advantage. And of course, we are only half of the picture. Our suppliers are at the heart of everything we do. We need to work more closely than ever with suppliers to co-create sustainable practices and bigger and better innovations.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for delivering Buying Savings and other cash targets such as payment term extension
· Jointly responsible to deliver Product Logic savings
· Responsible to meet all quality target for suppliers in this portfolio (EA & EB metrics)
· USQS (Unilever Supplier Quality System)
· Jointly responsible to ensure that all suppliers are compliant from both SQA (Supplier Quality Audit) and RS (Responsible Sourcing) for supplier in this portfolio
· Ensure that all contracts are current and in place to allow orders to be placed.
· This will involve contract negotiation and required approvals (following Schedule of Authority protocols)
· Working with the global portfolio teams to ensure that global contracts are finalised to allow any last mile logistics to be negotiated and in place to meet contract OTIF
· Responsible for ensuring Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system has been updated for local contracts (Market), and accountable for same for Global (or portfolio) contracts
· Help to provide forecasts to the global buyers for contracting purposes
· Support the Foods business on any supply shortage
· Provide input into the Full Cycle forecast, which includes pricing assumptions for Market managed materials
· Provide support and input to the innovation process, to meet agreed network timings
· Support all the Procurement digital programs being rolled out globally.
