Context

Digital is transforming how consumers, customers and businesses interact with each other and with businesses. For Unilever and at HUL, we have been at the journey of transforming our digital agenda over the last several years. We have created multiple capabilities across consumer spectrum from awareness, consideration, purchase. This involves tools, techniques and processes spanning multiple functions and units.

In this context, we have numerous data sources across platform information, consumer information, competitive information as well as media / syndicated data sources. The digital ecosystem is migrating from a data dark to a data rich system. In that light, it is necessary to make sense of all of the information available, democratize right information to right stakeholders, separate signal from noise, identify right tools for right data and create an analytics system to help decision making.

We are looking to hire a Assistant Manager - Performance Management to be a part of our Digital Team at Mumbai HO.

Role Profile

The digital ecosystem is filled with multiple data sources, tools and systems. This person will have to work with stakeholders across the organization to create a right framework of data aggregation, visualization and analytics. This will involve engagement with tool owners across global and local teams to identify right data sources, close coordination with uniops team to create right frameworks and working with business teams to map requirement gaps.

Key Accountabilities

·  Create a single view of digital data ecosystem with focus on data sources from digital tools
·  Understand tools in detail to identify the right sources for right data points
·  Engage with business to map requirement gaps and means to address those
·  Partner with DCom, Business, DnA and Media team

Experience / Skills required

The individual should have an appreciation of data modelling, digital tools and emerging digital landscape. Experience in working with business in digital space is preferred but not necessary.

·  The person should have 3+ years of experience in data management, analytics design, business facing
·  Strong stakeholder management skills
·  Design thinking is an added advantage
