MAIN JOB PURPOSE

The Assistant Key Account Manager-Hotel is responsible for the management and development of selected Hotel accounts at defined geography. It includes ensuring a sustainable growth via demand creation and brand building. They are the day to day contact for the customer and are responsible for delivery of customer targets at said area(s).

JOB SUMMARY
Customer Development
· Develop annual customer plan with monthly/quarterly activation to deliver turnover with volume/sales growth and profitability (gross margins).
· Leverage industry experience and share insights-based solutions thru value added services and brand building activities.
· Engage key decision makers and build impactful business relationship thru effective contact matrix.
· Conduct pantry check, and list SKU-s to deliver/increase and grow volume/usage.
· Execute quarterly Business Review at selected Top Hotels.

Impactful Selling Skills
· Build product knowledge with Chefmanship to support impactful selling.
· Analyze F&B and diner trends to identify opportunities, thus delivering high strike rate post sales call.
· Conduct menu analysis and demonstrate UFS product capability with support of internal Chef Team.
· Ability to defend and neutralize objections or competition thru strategic planning.

Business Acumen Discipline
· Execute Hotel Channel Activation plans.
· Prepare business proposal/yearly calendar plan to leverage holiday and festive season opportunities with Channel Marketing, focusing on Big Bets SKU-s at Top Hotels.
· Productive and discipline monitoring of Channel growth.
· Implement and execute agreed business development strategies (Account Plans) at Top Hotels.
· Monitor and process sales activity data, with insights on competition environment.

Team Player/Stakeholder Management
· Co-ordinate and engage all relevant stakeholders effectively and productively.
· Able to communicate effectively, and productively to achieve desired objective.
· Implement all activities as directed by Line Manager.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's degree
· Minimum five (5) years with relevant Account Management/Field Sales experience.
· Knowledge and experiences in food services in managing a group of key distributors and sales team.
· Strong networks with the general and modern trade.
· Proven development and implementation of customer channel business plan and strategic.
