MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The role of the Assistant Business Development and Capabilities Manager will be to assist the Business Development Manager (BDM) in driving both Capabilities & Operations with Key focus on delivering business growth & capability projects.

This role will be instrumental to drive Business Growth and Capabilities into the markets for UI.

The objectives of the Role is to:
· Drive Customer Development (CD) operational excellence in supporting Customers
· Drive implementation of UI Capabilities with our Customers
· Drive deeper & wider implementation of Capabilities across UI markets globally
· Drive utilization of existing Technologies
· Delivering new technologies & insights to enhance Unilever's Internationals collaboration capabilities
· Drive a global UI community for deployment of stronger repeatable models across markets and harnessing shared learnings through the network.

JOB SUMMARY
· Drive Operational support to Business Development activities like Monthly Order tracking, Forecast versus Actuals analysis etc.
· Drive Order to Cash cycle and Claims Processing (monitoring Trade Terms Structure [TTS] and Brand & Marketing Investment [BMI] spent)
· Support BDM in identifying new Business Development Opportunities by analyzing historical data, comparing competitor information and then creating plans for potential opportunities
· External Interface with Customers; Internal interface with Supply Chain (SC), Marketing IT and Finance business partners to set up the key enablers and project plan to deliver the initiatives for seamless implementation.
· Support Business Development Manager to Globally Drive Bigger and Better Capabilities agenda across UI by working with business & Technology teams in identifying new opportunities and driving existing technology implementations like Distributor Management systems.
· Highlights any opportunity for improving Capabilities for providing products and services to the UI organisation, recommends IT systems and services that will help UI organisation to achieve its business objectives.
· Help analyses any business change design and work with Unilever IT and 3 rd Party solution provider to support the approved implementation.
· Drive implementation of appropriate Customer collaboration Capabilities with UI Customers
· Drive End to end Order tracking tool development and implementation with key customer

KEY INTERFACES
· Interacts with Customers and extensively with all levels of Business Partners (CD, SC, Marketing & Finance)
· Interacts with Geo IT & Global IT teams in delivering key technical Capabilities
· IT Solution Providers and 3 rd Party Consultants

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Possess entrepreneurial spirit and can do attitude
· Strong business acumen
· Strong IT skills to enable to implement capability projects
· Experience in project management and successful in delivering these projects
· Able to work independently, multi-task and is target oriented
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to influence stakeholders
