JOB TITLE: Assistant Brand Manager - Foods LOCATION: Singapore RELOCATION TERMS: Local terms only

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
•The Assistant Brand Building Manger responsible for the brands health & performance in an operative
company.
• Leads the development of the Brand Marketing Plan, within the national category plan guidelines,
to meet company goals
• Leads a multifunctional team, both internal Unilever& external agencies, to implement the plan in the market place and monitors performance
of the support plans.
JOB SUMMARY
Supports the Brand Manager in taking the Category Strategy and translating it into National Category Building Plan (NCBP).

NATIONAL CATEGORY BUILDING PLAN
Supports the development of NCBP by:
• Managing the Category & Brand Audit to identify root issues and opportunities facing the
category and brand.
• Identify customer and channel category trends, supply chain and financial implications and
emerging consumer and shopper behavior, and monitoring competitor's activities
• Determining brand and customer fit behind category value drivers.

BRAND MARKETING PLAN
• Leads integrated Brand Marketing Plan development and deployment:
• Category Brand audit, Issues & Opportunities, Jobs to be done, 8Qactivity plans, Scorecards
& management of 6 P's (eg. pricing)
• Responsible for the brand P&L & help drive profitability of the brand.
• With Customer Development, sets national level brand KPI's and channel marketing
strategy and identify relevant in-store solutions.
• Deploys integrated brand communications per communications strategy & campaign idea in BET (communication materials are cleared with regional BD team and approved by cross functional teams (R&D, RA, Legal)
• Ensures that all marketing 6Ps are well evaluated before deployments - leads project network across cross functional team for projects to land On Time In Full, assets are adapted/developed with external creative/ production agencies
• Monitors brand performance to implement appropriate plan changes.
• On Innovations: Provides input to volume forecasting, financial updates and monitors key indicators and drivers of brand performance (6P's). Recommends solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets.

INNOVATION & RENOVATION
Responsible for launch management; building launch plans, Customer sell-in and legal & regulatory
issues. If lead BB Manager, also contribute to creation of TBP with BD team

KEY REQUIREMENTS Essentials:
Minimum of 3 - 4 years Marketing experience
Preferably with FMCG background

• Develops and launches consumer and shopper relevant innovations and relaunches
• Creates integrated communications
• Build brands through customers
• Monitors progress and takes action
• Profit &Loss knowledge to ensure portfolio profitability
