MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Here is an exciting role for us and for you! Like Frank Sinatra said “if i can make it here i can make it anywhere”. A bit tongue-in-cheek but candidly the role is dynamic and because of the depth of what is needed for the successful delivery of the role it requires a passionate, self-motivated, innovation and solution mindset.

You are responsible for leadership on the development and execution of a marketing plan for key brands. This role is brand building and brand development together in one role. You are the catalyst in brand building activities for these brands, working with the Marketing Managers, Sales Managers, Retail Marketers and European & Global Marketers to deliver premier products, propositions and communications which really add value to our customers in trade as well as operators and of course the consumer.

Day to day, your role consists of developing and executing brand campaigns, leading innovation projects and delivering NPD, and designing CRM communications to drive brand loyalty across your categories and brands. You will work closely with all areas of the business as well as agencies to strengthen your plans and to execute them brilliantly. You will be involved in cross functional business teams.

Your role is owning, developing and delivering strong plans to the market is dependent on your ability to communicate well both written and orally, as well as your passion for driving business growth. You are comfortable with numbers in order to handle budgets, build business cases for NPD and manipulate and interpret data. In addition, as a marketing professional it is key for you to keep up to date with developments in marketing (e.g. digital and social media) therefore we will offer a full induction and training Programme designed for you within Unilever's leading-edge marketing academy.

This role is innovation focused role, you will be working with World foods and cuisine: working on new launches with a lot of responsibility: presenting to leadership teams. We are looking for the next generation of leaders. Together we will win and make this successful for you and the business.

JOB SUMMARY
· Own the specified brand portfolio within UKI. Monitor in year performance against KPIs and adjust as required.
· Own Innovation projects (including leading local projects), build business cases and own UKI deployment including Launch Plans, Post Launch Tracking and Evaluation.
· Own Consumer Experience and Merchandising where relevant
· Develop and execute campaigns for brands, in conjunction with wider marketing team and broader business teams, that aim to promote brand loyalty to our brands
· Interact and align with Retail colleagues where relevant on marketing initiatives and communications.
· Connect with customers to collect and feedback actionable insights, issues and trends.
· Be the face of the brand externally with customers and key industry sponsors and partners.
· Contribute to the annual planning process, including budget investment and promotional evaluation.
· Plan and implement assets in Media and Communications including all on and offline channels.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Proven experience in marketing ideally, otherwise a role where delivery of marketing initiatives has been included. Ideally suited to someone currently working in Retail Brand Development, Brand Building or Category Management who is looking for a broadened experience in Brand Building.
· Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods or Food Service desirable but not essential
