Planning & Logistics Supply Chain Co-Op

Location: Rexdale

Background & Purpose of the Job

With over 100 years of history, Hellmann’s is one of Unilever’s $1B brands with the #1 and 2 top selling SKUs in North America. The Rexdale facility is home to Hellmann’s mayonnaise production in Canada with 3 packaging lines, supporting the North American and global markets.

As the Planning & Logistics Intern for our Rexdale factory, you will be responsible for ensuring that materials are readily available for production and inventory control at both our third party and factory warehouses. You will be the go-to contact for production on Saturdays.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

· Daily checks and replenishment of high usage ingredients, working directly with the supplier
· Reconciliation of materials, ensuring the system is cleaned up on a weekly basis
· Assist with STOs for outbound shipments (both domestic and export) on weekends as required
· Monthly cycle counts on all materials for onsite and third-party warehouse (weekend)
· Support the planning team in managing transitions and attainment reporting
· Create and manage transfers between the third-party warehouse and factory for materials for weekend production and weekly start up
· Prepare production orders for the shop floor on a weekly basis
· This role requires working on Saturdays
