Area description

Group Research & Development Department, within Group ICT and Security Office, is a multi-skilled team focused on innovative solutions, matching engineering, program-developing, projecting, prototyping and testing skills.

In addition to its core activities as an experimental laboratory, it is directly responsible of some key projects within the 2019 Transform Plan.

Function description

The area is machine learning software engineering.

Group Research & Development is exposed to a reasonable complete processing stack in this area, covering both IT and mathematical modelling, so that topics could range from models training and artificial intelligence algorithms, to pure databases, data processing pipelines and cloud computing environments.

Job description

Specific topics closely followed by team members are: topological data analysis, graph mining, neural networks and FPGA computing.

You could be involved and contribute in one of these points, according to your experience and attitude.

We Expect You To Feel Comfortable With General-purpose Programming (say, Python), Showing a Strong Positive Attitude In One (or More) Of These Areas

·         numerical recipes or optimization, deep learning models, genetic optimization,

·         database dialects (SQL at least), data integration,

·         networking (say, basic TCP/IP and streaming), basic infrastructure and software lifecycle (i.e., os, repos, containers, orchestrators (Kubernetes), testing).

What We Expect From You

Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics

We expect you to have a background in mathematics/computer science/physics but, most important, we expect you to be passionate about data analysis and machine learning.
We do not strictly require any understanding of finance/economics/banks' business (which is clearly nevertheless appreciated).
