Job Description

Your role

Ubisoft’s games provide players with memorable worlds to serve as a fun and inspiring playground. As a Level Designer your role will be to imbue these worlds with your creativity, design proficiency and knowledge.

Your daily adventure

FROM CONCEPT TO FINALIZATION
Manage the design of your quests and levels through the full cycle of production from conception to finalization

UNDERSTAND AND IMPLEMENT THE DESIRED GAMEPLAY
In your quests and levels

MAINTAIN AND BALANCE
The readability, difficulty and accessibility of the quests and levels

UNDERSTAND AND APPLY
The narrative and emotional ambition for the environments you are responsible for

COLLABORATE EFFECTIVELY
With the Creative, Art and Gameplay Programming teams

SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE
And assist other Level Designers

IDENTIFY AND RESOLVE TECHNICAL ISSUES
And bugs reported into the database by the QA team

Qualifications

Your skills  

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years in game development or at least one shipped title

ENTHUSIASM
Interest and desire to work in the game development industry

KNOWLEDGE
Good insight of level editors and scripting tools
Good insight of MS Office Suite

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Collaborate effectively with other team members
Proficiency level of English

PRIORITIZATION SKILLS
Ability to prioritize tasks and work

TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
Ability to manage your own time and work within deadlines

PRECISION WRITING
Ability to write clear and concise documentation
