Job Description
Within the Financial Planning department (FP) at Ubisoft HQ as Senior Business Planning Analyst. As part of the Topline Business Planning team, your main mission will be analyzing and optimizing the Group’s Topline (Gross Margin) by tracking variations and communicating the results to management accompanied by relevant business explanations
Your tasks include:
· Monitor and analyze Group Actual top line on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, performing in-depth and accurate financial analysis on current financial performance and trend, including budget/forecast variance analysis
· Supporting Investor Relations team in financial communication process by providing extensive financial reports and shaping equity story
· Identifying risk and opportunities through top line Landing process
· Preparation of presentations/reports accompanied by relevant business explanations
· Identify the areas to be improved in the efficiency of the reporting process, propose new checks to improve data quality
· Initiate and perform advanced analysis on selected topics
· Actively contributing to the Group’s transformation journey, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization, including the evolution of planning processes.
· Support change management efforts, promoting adoption of new tools, governance models, and best practices.
Qualifications
Relevant experience
· Significant experience in FP&A and revenue forecasting & consolidation within a multinational or complex organization
· Understanding digital revenue models (premium, F2P, DLC, subscriptions, season passes), player behavior metrics (DARPU, DAU, MAU, retention, conversion rates)
Skills and knowledge
· Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; comfortable with multidimensional data cubes (reporting tools, ERP systems, databases, etc.);
· Enthusiasm for working and exploring consolidation tools (BAFT, HFM). Experience with Oracle technologies is a strong plus;
· A good understanding of accounting and finance;
· Advance knowledge in financial analysis and reporting skills;
· Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Willingness to learn new things to solve a certain task;
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial insights and recommendations to management
· Organizational skills: able to prioritize and perform tasks efficiently, respecting strict deadlines without compromising quality
· Reliable, dynamic, motivated and organized person, with attention to details and oriented towards result
· Fluent in English.
