In Ukraine Ubisoft has two studios, Ubisoft Kiev and Ubisoft Odesa, which focus on strengthening Ubisoft's presence on all platforms, with the main expertize in PC. Ubisoft Kiev was established in 2008 and is one of the biggest GameDev studios in Ukraine that collaborated on blockbusters like Assassin's Creed®, Far Cry®, Steep®, Watch Dogs®, Trials®, Rainbow Six®, Ghost Recon ® and more. Ubisoft Odesa was opened in March 2018 and takes part in the development of Ubisoft’s world-known franchises.
Our Backend PHP Developers are designing, developing and enhancing our game services. They conceptualize and develop various features for online games that can support a large user base. He contributes to the games’ backend codebase during the production phase and maintains it after release, as long as they are Up and Live.
Responsibilities:
· Designing and development of game features and systems
· Enhancement of internal admin frameworks and QA products
· Develop & Debug modules and game’s specific features taking into account technical constraints
· Design, develop, maintain & optimize secure and scalable web applications, web services
· Is in charge with ongoing operational activities (setting up and maintaining dev server instances)
· Provide support to team members whenever required
Requirements:
· Advanced PHP (OOP)
· Experience with at least one popular PHP framework
· Web Services experience
· Good SQL Knowledge
· Experience with NoSQL databases
· Experience with versioning systems
· Basic Linux knowledge
· Basic HTML, CSS knowledge
· Basic Java Script
· Intermediate English
As a plus:
· Laravel knowledge
· Mongo DB
· Agile with Scrum
· Docker Compose
