Job Description

The role holder will be responsible for owning, developing and carrying out a Technical trainings for the business activities.

Technical Training Process
·  Organizes a schedule to review the training needs from HR’s database of training plan
·  Conceptualizes training materials based on data, research and affiliate’s needs for technical trainings that are not yet available
·  Adapts and creates actual training modules (as required) for the APMO perimeter (localize the modules' contents to the zone) in coordination with the metiers
·  Creates training strategies, initiatives and materials with the approval of the zone experts, the branch and the training center
·  Maintains an up-to-date database of all the training materials and training records of the critical position holders
·  Liaises with the affiliates to review the training budget and long term-plan (LTP) on HSE, Operations and Technical trainings to be delivered
·  Works closely with all stakeholders and departments involved for the training delivery
·  Updates the syllabus and list of available HSE, Operations and Technical trainings in the APMO training catalog
·  Conducts effective face-to-face and/or remote training depending on the urgency and business’ priorities using suitable materials (webinars and refresher courses)
·  Animates the training modules available from the branch thru effective delivery of their key messages in a remote or classroom setting
·  Implements Train the Trainer program on identified HSE training courses and facilitates the course transfer to all the identified internal trainers
·  Evaluates employees pre and post training performance while providing follow up sessions to validate the effectiveness of actions needed to retain the skills
·  Provides progress report to the region on the status of the trainings and communicate feedback to all stakeholders on training initiatives and projects
·  Keeps the a proper dashboard of KPIs up to date and inform all the stakeholder of the training process progress, compliance MS guidelines
·  Manages all re-billing matters to the affiliates, in close coordination with TOAP Finance, when necessary
·  For the upcoming projects on station rebranding, solarization and EV charging, the trainer to assist in ensuring the required trainings and knowledge on these topics are acquired in closed coordination with the different experts from the Group - to be implemented in the APMO zone. Business Support
·  Develops, manages, supports and coaches the HSE & Logistics managers/coordinators, ensuring they have the tools, skills and knowledge (including train the trainer) to support training needs in their functional business areas
·  Provides HSE and Operations team the training toolkit to guide their personnel and be able to onboard new resources smoothly
·  Manages the quality and consistency of application of training across the business while meeting compliance requirements
·  Develops and embeds a framework for ongoing needs assessment for the business areas Transverse projects
·  Takes part to the creation process of new trainings program and webinars
·  Ensures a proper coordination between HSE, LOG & TECH core business, Rades Training Center and Total Learning Solution (TLS) Best Practice
·  Drives a continual improvement in all Technical training processes
·  Develops a best practice training approach, (ensuring alignment to other initiatives across the business), keeping abreast of and applying new techniques and solutions

Candidate profile

·  At least 6 years of experience in an Engineering & Logistics in the downstream petroleum industry with knowledge in the HSE, Supply and depot/plant operations (any of the following products: Fuels, Lubes & Specialties, LPG)
·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
·  3 years previous experience as a Technical trainer
·  Ability to adapt the training programs to business circumstance (local)
·  Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel) and instructional softwares
·  Good communication, interpersonal and engagement skills. Able to talk confidently, passionately with the ability to motivate
·  Experience with technologies and best practices for teaching platforms
·  Strong knowledge in information technology to explore the use of electronic training opportunities, including development of multi-media training programs (where feasible and appropriate)
·  Excellent leadership, team building and management skills
·  Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
·  Ability to quickly adopt to international and multi-cultural working environment
·  Exposure to Project Management
·  Fluent in English
