About the Role
The job holder reports to the Sales Support Manager and has responsibility for delivering the targeted Margin/Volume and product mix in line with the expectations set by the business strategy and directed by Sales managers.
The key elements of this office based role are order processing, aged debt management, account management, telephone sales and general administration.

Sales Support Advisors focus is driven by customer demands and are required to turn their skills to multiple products, various geographical areas and various market sectors.

 
·  Prospecting new customers in line with the channel strategy.
·  Calling existing customers to secure orders to meet or exceed required targets.
·  Answering direct calls from customers in a prescribed timeframe and delivering service and support.
·  Advise customers on threshold levels for bulk deliveries by analysing and monitoring the signalman sites.
·  Liaise on a daily basis with Sales Managers and Area Business Managers on all aspects of Sales support for specific customers in the channel.
·  Set up and maintain customer accounts in CRM software (Salsa).
·  Apply given pricing formula for customers and provide quotations.
·  Control aged debt by using Business Planning reports to follow up payment of outstanding invoices.
·  Provide feedback on KPI’s for the channel in relation to sales targets, quotations, order placing, aged debt, DSO.
·  Record and gather information in relation to customer complaints ensuring all information is correctly logged. Assist in investigations to close out complaints.
·  Raise credit / debit notes as directed.
·  Update prices in SAP as and when necessary.

Candidate profile

About the Successful Candidate
We are looking for someone with a strong telephone sales / sales administration or customer service background. You will have a first class record of direct selling via telephone/mail shot/email shot and other forms of promotional tools, meeting and striving to exceed targets and building strong working relationships.

A knowledge and understanding of the Lubricants industry would be ideal though not essential. If you are a tenacious, commercially aware, customer focused and target driven professional, we are very interested in hearing from you.

·  Some proven experience in Customer service or Sales Administration, and ideally also Telesales.
·  Very detail-oriented, organised with a clear dedication to Customer satisfaction .
·  Professional representation of the company, and an excellent telephone manner.
·  IT literate (Microsoft suite), knowledge of CRM tools prefered.
·  Highly self motivated and results-driven.
·  Excellent record keeping/data management.
