Job Description

·  Prepare credit procedures as directed by Management.
·  Evaluate customers, their guarantors and their parents with a detailed credit analysis including narrative write-up and financial statement analysis.  Make recommendations for credit lines including tenors and security to Management as guided by Director of Credit.
·  Issue outgoing margin calls and answer incoming margin calls on a daily basis.  Authorize receipts and payments in the Company's internal systems.
·  Responsible along with the Credit Director for reviewing and issuing daily credit exposure reports, any new daily over exposures/credit breeches and periodic overexposure reports
·  Participate in monthly credit meetings with Geneva.
·  Backup Director of Credit in parental guaranty reporting and control processes.  Liaison between THUS Legal and counterparty in issuing outgoing parental guaranties and letters of credit to support credit lines for TGPNA at the counterparties
·  Contribute to the development of enhanced credit limit calculation, exposure methodologies and associated reporting databases, including the development of the Company's new internal systems' functionality, to ensure process remains capable of capturing evolving trading products & exposures.
·  Support Credit Director in negotiation of Parent Company Guarantees and other forms of collateral as required.
·  Develop ad hoc reports and analysis to assist in evaluation and presentation of credit risks and exposures
·  Contribute to testing and implementation of new credit system processes and features.
·  Perform special projects as directed by Management.

Candidate profile

·  Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or an other business-related field ;
·  Prefer 2 - 5 years prior experience in credit analysis or financial related experience with a natural gas trading and marketing organization;
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
·  Strong organizational, data management and analytical skills required.
