What you will do: 

The Digital Solution Delivery organization at TJX focuses on the customer-driven experiences across the globe, including all of our eCommerce domains, mobile apps, loyalty programs, in-store digital experiences, and more. We are builders, testers and innovators extending TJX's renowned treasure hunt experience to new audiences and fans. The Ecomm team designs and develops and tests the tkmaxx.com website which sees millions of pounds worth of orders placed every week. Testing and Quality Assurance is at the forefront of our delivery, and we ensure that our developed features, enhancements and delivered projects are fully tested and quality assured before rolling them out into Production. We are looking for a talented, motivated and experienced QAIII to help us support testing and quality assurance Ecomm to the next level in terms of tools, frameworks and technologies.

As an QAIII, you will be experienced in testing and will be working as a Test Lead. You will work directly in a team typically consisting of testers and across the wider Ecomm team with members from various levels of seniority and may also include team members from other disciplines, depending upon team type, size, and scope of responsibility. You’ll play the role of a test lead and test our ecommerce platform and help develop test approaches, end to end test plans to support projects, enhancements and releases for the ecommerce domain, while operating in an Agile environment.

Working within an established SAFe framework, in this role you will work within the Testing team to ensure the features delivered by the various scrum teams are planned and tested efficiently with the appropriate test coverage.  Acting as a Test Lead, you will also lead test planning and estimation, end to end test preparation. test execution and reporting.

You will be focused on quality standards and primarily define an efficient test strategy is planned for projects and ensure a high-quality product is delivered.

Key Skills (Must Have’s):

• Extensive experience of working in a test lead role in with ecommerce front-end technologies; covering functional test planning, E2E test strategy, test reporting and tracking 
• Demonstrable experience of having delivered technical/ functional test strategies and led test projects end to end preferably for an ecommerce site; e.g. platform upgrades, new website launch, API driven 3rd party changes, etc
• Experience of test estimation, test reporting and defect tracking
• Experience of SAP Hybris / Commerce Cloud test delivery or strong functional knowledge of Hybris 
• Experience in testing multi-geo ecommerce solutions and wider API connected systems and applications – may even be 3rd party hosted applications       
• Working knowledge of Jira / Confluence
• Working knowledge of Test Tools – like qTest, Browserstack
• Strong experience of working within an Agile framework (SAFe would be preferable)
• Should have worked on phases of testing like system testing, SIT, UAT, Integration testing, Regression etc. 

Key Skills (Nice to Have’s):

• Good to have an understanding of Test Automation, Non-Functional testing
• Knowledge of ecommerce and how it functions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Team oriented approach and strong interpersonal skills 
• Experience working in a collaborative manner with a combination of nearshore and offshore teams (potentially provided by multiple suppliers) 
• Working alongside other team members like Product Owners, Product Managers, Developers, Tech leads to plan testing
• Able to support in test execution, as necessary
• Testing with Accessibility Screen Readers, File based testing, API Testing, POSTMAN (good to have)
• Knowledge of how Accessibility testing works

Role Description:

• Performs highly complex testing to ensure that the system is implemented and functions as designed 
• Ensures that testing meets organization standards for compliance
• Leads the E2E Testing for EU Digital projects – defining test strategy, test preparation, performing test execution, and reporting
• Ensure appropriate test scoping, test data planning, test phases, regression and relevant engagement with wider functions(as necessary) is performed
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers and Scrum teams to review backlog of test features being delivered
• Build QA project plans and track QA progress against the plan.
• Provides daily status updates, timely communication of Release testing status, risks, issues, and defect status to Test Manager/Release team
• Track daily test scripts progress in qTest, managing test folders and ensuring appropriate use of the qTest tool
• Engage with the Test Automation function within the wider team to enable regression automation decisions
• Present at key ART meetings to showcase testing progress and KPI’s
• Executes SIT and UAT test cases manually using qTest
• Participates in daily defect triages, which includes detection, risk assessment, documentation, and retesting. Acts as the subject matter expert on specific areas of testing.
• Conduct Test consolidation activity for features planned to reduce overhead of testing
• Perform cross ART testing and build relationships across ART’s and Business stakeholders
• Support QA Manager in building roadmap for test delivery and test improvements
• Act as a Testing SME and drive knowledge sharing across the team 
• Engage with wider Digital QA across TJX IT, as and when necessary to support global Digital QA Strategy.
