The MMX Merch Flow Planning Manager in Inbound supports MarMaxx merchandising priorities by delivering clear, actionable analytics that optimize funding, spend, dating, flow, and shipping strategies. This role applies strong analytical capability and merchant knowledge to influence buying decisions, improve flow execution, and drive strategic business outcomes. The position partners closely with Merchants, Planning, Merch Flow, Finance, and Logistics/Distribution Services teams to ensure product flow aligns with company goals.
- Analyze trend performance and recommend data-driven funding, spend, dating, and flow strategies, with emphasis on Q4 and key seasonal businesses
- Highlight divisional and departmental opportunities using analytics that showcase financial metrics such as liquidity, commitments, mark on, ticket, and gross profit.
- Monitor weekly ownership vs. flow plans; quantify gaps, identify root causes, and deliver clear, solution oriented recommendations.
- Provide visibility into risks and opportunities through a Merch Flow lens to support strategic decision making.
- Influence Merchandising and Planning partners to achieve enterprise flow and liquidity objectives through data backed, balanced solutions.
- Continuously evolve Merch Flow/PSD tools, processes, and reporting to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Partner with L&D and leadership to strengthen organizational understanding of planning and supply chain fundamentals.
- Identify opportunities to deliver creative solutions to the organization to streamline information management
Who We’re Looking for: You.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain - MBA a plus.
- Ability to translate complex business needs and conceptual framework into clear, actionable analytics and insights
- High proficiency in Excel/BI tools and large‑dataset analysis
- Effective communicator capable of influencing across functions and all levels of leadership
- Process‑minded problem solver focused on continuous improvement
- Merchandising knowledge with applied planning/analytics experience

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
