thyssenkrupp Global Shared Services (GSS) Organisation, which is currently being formed, provides a global selected services from areas such as HR, Finance and Accounting, IT and Real Estate for thyssenkrupp AG and its affiliated companies. thyssenkrupp Business Services GmbH is part of the GSS-Organisation with its headquarter located in Essen.

IT Services (GSS IT), as one part of it, provides services catered towards Information Technology such as Infrastructure, Application Management and Security.

For our “Global Application Support & Services” located in Essen we are looking for a

Your responsibilities

Main task is to secure that the Maintenance processes in globally implemented SAP CO services are running smoothly and according to the customer expectations.

·  Offer professional support and needed technical guidance to our customers related to the optimal system usage
·  Promote, drive and support the service transition to GSS-IT and service transformation towards the Future Operation Model
·  Together with the Application Manager, create pro-active proposals towards effective service operations Handling of service requests by changing SAP standard customizing
·  Analyzing of errors and developing work arounds and permanent solutions (together with the 2nd Level)
·  Perform feasibility checks and cost estimations for Requests for Change (RfCs)
·  Managing the minor change request process
·  Coordination of questions concerning tickets and coordinate the needed test activities related to the error corrections and minor change deployments
·  Supervise the quality and accuracy of the Incident and Problem Management processes
·  Supporting documentation related to the changes and also support interfaces to back-end systems
·  Ensure continuous knowledgebase updates
·  Coordination of tasks with colleagues in near-shore Service-Center (e.g. Poland)
·  Coordination of tasks with external service providers
·  Act as the first escalation level for our customers regarding possible service disturbances
·  Responsible for fulfilling SLAs (e.g. error handling time)
·  Checking and planning necessary knowhow transfers with all parties involved (e.g. customer, service provider etc.)
·  Securing the error-free handover of projects and major changes into support & maintenance
·  Support for go-lives
·  Collaboration in projects
·  Realization of selected major Change Requests (CRs)
·  Audit support

Your profile

·  Apprenticeship or successful study with focus on IT / computer science
·  At least 3 years of relevant job experience
·  Strong knowledge of SAP - in particular SAP CO, SAP GMDS
·  Ability to operate with SAP Solution Manager and HPSM
·  Understanding the Integrations to other SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, PS, CS and IM) appreciated
·  Experienced in working with MS Office
·  Strong degree of trustworthiness as well as accuracy and carefulness
·  Distinctive social and communicative skills for collaborating and reconcilement
·  Fluent in English and German
