Components Technology - Our Business Area Components Technology is passionate about everything that moves. It produces components for all application areas such as front and rear axles of all Porsche models or large-diameter anti-friction slewing rings for windmill-powered plants. 30.000 employees are responsible for the success of this Business Area.

Your responsibilities

Duties: ensure quality of incoming goods, implement and report shipping and dock audits for finished parts; prepare quality reports for quality problems, warranty issues, and customer complaints on a weekly and monthly basis; develop and maintain product quality control plans to ensure that quality assurance objectives are met; create and maintain calibration systems, work instructions, process descriptions, and a vendor quality ranking system; create, implement, and evaluate CAPA reports for problem solving; analyze and report on existing quality control processes, and support the development of new processes, including performing internal audits; travel to company domestic manufacturing sites to support quality programs, less than 10%.

Your profile

Requirements: 2 years of experience in a quality assurance position with an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier.

Experience must include: quality assurance operations for automotive air, torsion bar, and leaf and coil spring suspension systems, and for bypass and dual spring rate shock absorbers; shock dynamometer test equipment to yield damping forces and charge pressure; evaluation and analysis of field return shock to determine shock absorber component failure; and operation of automated gas and oil fill machines for producing shock absorbers. Experience can be acquired concurrently.
