Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager II in Atlanta, GA .

Essential duties and responsibilities:

·  Oversees various projects of a highly complex nature
·  Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
·  Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
·  Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
·  Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
·  Ensure resource availability and allocation
·  Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
·  Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project cost using appropriate verification techniques
·  Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
·  Report and escalate to management as needed
·  Perform risk management to minimize project risks
·  Establish and maintain relationship with third party/vendors
·  Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Your profile

·  Bachelor’s Degree or higher
·  Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science and engineering
·  Proven working experience in project management
·  Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in the Elevator Industry
·  Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
·  Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
·  PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred
·  College degree or equivalent preferred
·  Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience
·  Scheduling and budgeting experience required
